EL CLÁSICO ÁLBUM DE 1982 SE EDITA EN UNA EDICIÓN SÚPER DELUXE 5 CD + BLUE-RAY AUDIO, TRIPLE VINILO, LP HALF SPEED, EDICIÓN DELUXE 2 CD, 1 CD REMASTERIZADO Y DIGITAL

Se celebran 40 años de la salida de Creatures Of The Night, el mítico álbum de 1982 de la banda KISS. Reventó las expectativas de los fans del grupo con un sonido de vuelta al rock y se ha convertido en un clásico para los fans. El 18 de noviembre de este año, UMe publicará Creatures Of The Night 40 en formato 5 CD + Blu-ray Audio, 3 LP Deluxe, 2 CD Deluxe, LP half Speed de 180 g., 1 CD remasterizado y también una edición Súper Deluxe en digital (descarga + streaming) y la versión 2 CD también en digital (solo descarga), además de un vinilo coloreado en exclusiva. Todos los formatos están ya disponibles para reserva AQUÍ.

 

La banda canalizó todos sus esfuerzos de forma consciente para volver al sonido hard rock por el que eran conocidos, lo que resultó en la salida de Creatures Of The Night en octubre de 1982.  Además de un sonido más duro, el álbum destacó por su carácter, más pesado y oscuro. El single, “I Love It Loud” se puede escuchar en casi cada gira de KISS, mientras que “War Machine”, la balada “I Still Love You” y la canción que da título al disco también han sonado frecuentemente en sus conciertos durante muchos años. También a destacar “Killer”, en la que se puede escuchar la primera colaboración del que se convertiría en su guitarra, Vinnie Vincent. Creatures Of The Night recibió grandes críticas en revistas como Kerrang! y Guitar Player – que situaron al disco entre los top cinco de sus listas de fin de año en 1982 – y que les dio el status de Disco de Oro (por unas ventas de más de 500.000 discos).

La caja Súper Deluxe de Creatures of The Night 40 presume de incluir 103 canciones, siendo 75 de ellas inéditas. El CD 1 es el álbum original nuevamente remasterizado y suena mejor que nunca.  Los CDs 2 y 3 incluyen 34 demos, rarezas y tomas descartadas que incluyen gemas inéditas como “Deadly Weapon (Penny Lane Demo)”, “Not For The Innocent (Demo)” y “Betrayed (Outtake)”. En los CDs 4 y 5 destacan 26 increíbles grabaciones en directo de la gira Creatures 82/83 y siete efectos de sonido de gira, todos grabados y archivados por el ingeniero de gira de Creatures, Harry Witz. En el Blue-ray se puede escuchar la primera mezcla Atmos y 5.1 surround extraída de los multipistas originales del disco además de la nueva mezcla de alta resolución nuevamente remasterizada con una mezcla estéreo
