English:
International band that debuts with an album worked since 2020 after six years of artistic career. They affirm that they execute an elegant doom according to the decade of the 70s, is it true?
The opening with «Healer» confirms this. Powerful riff, excellent production and even a touch of technical death complete the ensemble with elegance and proper balance. Cuts like «Torchbearer» and «Ruins» confirm that his is doom, but without a garage sound, rather it’s the one that mainly connects with Black Sabbath’s latest album.
Other very interesting cuts are the one that gives the album its title, «On stranger shores» (it is quite reminiscent of Dio’s time in Iommi’s band) and the final «Farewell» where all of the above is collected a bit and continues betting for elegance.
Luckily, the doom is not dead and continues to confirm an optimal state of health. It’s up to you to enjoy it in a big way with an album that will reconcile you with the genre.
