Crítica JOHN DIVA & THE ROCKETS OF LOVE – «American Amadeus»

Esta curiosa banda alemana consiguió, en 2019, vender miles de discos con su álbum de debut. El uso de disfraces y elementos diversos no ha de despistarte ya que, como ahora te comentamos, el grupo tiene todos los ingredientes necesarios para convertirse en uno de tus favoritos.

«Voodoo, Sex & Vampires» es rock americano de los 80 sin paliativos. «American Amadeus» tiene elementos de Kiss, Guns n´Roses y bandas clásicas diversas, puede ser el single que les abra las puertas en muchos países. «Soldier Of Love» tiene la pegada de las bandas de la antedicha década y una calidad sorprendente. ¡Viva el revival!

«Bling Bling Marilyn» es un tema cañero que comienza con su título y que, poco a poco, se va desenvolviendo hasta convertirse en un temazo de hair metal. «Champagne On Mars» es puro Poison, pero con elementos melódicos bastante interesantes. «Weekend For A Lifetime» tiene un riff tan clásico como adictivo, ese toque a lo AC/DC es siempre bienvenido. Un temazo.

«Karmageddon» es un medio tiempo comercial que puede ayudarles a darse a conocer. «Wasted (In Babylon)» es un pepinazo de rock festivo que te dejará sin aliento. «Movin’ Back To Paradise» tiene un aire a lo Huey Lewis muy sorprendente, exige un videoclip a la altura al ser un single perfecto. «Drip Drip Baby» es casi un homenaje a los Aerosmith más cafres. «This Is Rock’n’Roll» puede ser tu nuevo himno gracias a su melodía a lo Whitesnake.»2 Hearts» es una romántica balada que cierra el disco.

Si el revival rock te cansaba por mirar siempre hacia Led Zeppelin, este álbum te reconciliará con el género. Todas las bandas de hard rock importantes se ven reflejadas, bien como influencia principal o como pincelada, en un magnífico disco que te sorprenderá gratamente. Hay futuro para el rock. «Voodoo, Sex & Vampires» is American rock of the 80s without palliative. «American Amadeus» has elements of Kiss, Guns n’Roses and various classical bands, it may be the single that opens the doors to you in many countries. «Soldier Of Love» has the punch of the bands of the above decade and a surprising quality. Long live the revival!

«Bling Bling Marilyn» is a powerful song that begins with its title and that, little by little, unfolds until it becomes a great hair metal song. «Champagne On Mars» is pure Poison, but with quite interesting melodic elements. «Weekend For A Lifetime» has a riff as classic as it is addictive, that touch to the AC / DC is always welcome. A great song.
