Fue en enero de 2020 cuando esta banda de Helsinki decidió reunirse para darle forma a las ideas que rondaban por su cabeza. Poco a poco, han conseguido que su primer disco sea una realidad. Lo que nadie se esperaba es que pudieran sorprender tanto a los amantes del metal en general.

Las influencias cinematográficas, la propia cultura de los integrantes y un interés continuo por marcar la diferencia han hecho el resto. Nos quedamos, por representativos de su concepto musical, con estos dos temas. «The end of the beginning» arranca con ese sonido crudo con pinceladas stoner que tanto agradan al personal. No te esperes una voz gutural, ni mucho menos. El hard rock clásico hace acto de presencia y se abre camino entre coordenadas más poderosas, pero totalmente compatibles.

«Point blank range» entronca más con otras tendencias del metal, pero sin alejarse demasiado del rock más potente. De hecho, recuerdan bastante a las grandes bandas, pero enriquecidas con toques más cañeros. Sin duda, es uno de los grandes cortes del disco.

Otros que nos han gustado bastante por su elegancia son «Nevermore», «Smokescreen» y «Betrayal», pero todos brillan a un nivel inmejorable. Tenemos por delante una banda que se convertirá en leyenda. El tiempo confirmará nuestro vaticinio.

It was in January 2020 when this Helsinki band decided to get together to give shape to the ideas that were going through their heads. Little by little, they have made their first album a reality. What no one expected is that they could surprise metal lovers in general so much.

Cinematic influences, the members’ own culture, and an ongoing interest in making a difference have done the rest. We remain, as representative of his musical concept, with these two themes. «The end of the beginning» kicks off with that raw sound with stoner brushstrokes that the staff like so much. Don’t expect a throaty voice, far from it. Classic hard rock makes an appearance and makes its way between more powerful coordinates, but fully compatible.

«Point blank range» connects more with other metal trends, but without straying too far from the most powerful rock. In fact, they are quite reminiscent of the big bands, but enriched with touches more powerful. Without a doubt, it is one of the great cuts on the album.

Others that we have liked a lot for their elegance are «Nevermore», «Smokescreen» and «Betrayal», but they all shine to an unbeatable level. We have a band ahead of us that will become a legend. Time will confirm our prediction.
