El black metal como se hacia en antaño, puro y brutal
Su quinto disco de estudio nos ofrece un black metal en la línea más clásica del género sin aditamentos de fondo, entiéndase coros o teclados, lo que a la postre no esta mal. Irdorath nos presenta un disco muy intenso con todas sus canciones arriba de los cuatro minutos y con un peculiar gusto a lo excesivo en la cual he disfrutado mucho escuchando sus nuevas canciones.
Es un álbum que no se anda por las ramas, ya que nos ofrece parajes brutales sazonados con puntuales detalles de guitarras lentas u acústicas en medio de tanto caos, que quedan brillantes y resaltan aún más su fuerte sonido. Uno de los puntos fuertes del disco es que no se detiene una vez inicia, salvo por los brillantes cambios de ritmo como por ejemplo en «Shatterer Of Wolrds» o los medios tiempos en la última «When The Last Bell Falls Silent» en sus inicios hasta desembocar en pequeñas secciones violentas para luego volver a su dinámica base.
Me encanta «Chains Of Virtue» por esa agresividad y velocidad así como los matices en los riffs de fondo, cuando el corte parece volar. El doble bombo y su fuerza en los temas es apabullante, cuando la banda se pone en modo vertiginoso, como en «Debaptized«, por citaros uno, su sonido te engancha de una manera única, o los detalles del bajo en algunas secciones de «Redeemer Of The Heretics» para deleitar los gustos más exquisitos, como también sucede con la entrada de «Divine Delussion», que son los que citaba al inicio y le aportan brillo al trabajo en su totalidad.
En general, lo que me ha gustado del disco es la fuerza que transmite a lo largo de sus nueve temas en la versión más tradicional del estilo y que han sabido sacarle partido y un gusto excepcional a cada segundo de duración.
Black metal as it was in the past, pure and brutal
His fifth studio album offers us black metal in the most classic line of the genre without background accessories, choirs or keyboards, which is not bad in the end. Irdorath presents us with a very intense album with all his songs over four minutes and with a peculiar taste for the excessive in which I have really enjoyed listening to his new songs.
It is an album that does not go around the bush, since it offers us brutal places seasoned with punctual details of slow or acoustic guitars in the midst of so much chaos, which remain bright and further highlight its strong sound. One of the strengths of the album is that it does not stop once it starts, except for the brilliant changes in rhythm such as in «Shatterer Of Wolrds» or the halftime in the last «When The Last Bell Falls Silent» in its beginnings until it ends in small violent sections and then returns to its dynamic base.
I love «Chains Of Virtue» for that aggressiveness and speed as well as the nuances in the background riffs, when the cut seems to fly. The double bass drum and its strength in the songs is overwhelming, when the band goes into giddy mode, as in «Debaptized«, to name one, its sound hooks you in a unique way, or the details of the bass in some sections of «Redeemer Of The Heretics» to delight the most exquisite tastes, as also happens with the entry of » Divine Delussion«, which are the ones that I mentioned at the beginning and add shine to the work in its entirety.
In general, what I liked about the album is the force that it transmits throughout its nine songs in the most traditional version of the style and that they have known how to take advantage of it and an exceptional taste to every second of duration.
