Esta banda de Puerto Rico tiene claro que su ubicación tiene poco que ver con su música. De hecho, meten una caña impresionante y lo mejor es que la combinan con matices más melódicos para convertir su sonido en totalmente irresistible. Lo que decimos se deja notar en cortes como «Not for the masses». El que le da título al disco mezcla a Pantera con Black Sabbath con enorme maestría.

«Unlawful» tiene un riff stoner que entra a la primera, pero con pinceladas de Slayer. «Turning the pages» es un ya un clásico del metal ya que desde sus primeros segundos te lleva directamente al huerto. Recuerda bastante a los años 90 y también al rock sureño lo que no deja de ser una sorpresa agradable. «Power of my own» es un puñetazo en la cara con riff a lo Guns n’ Roses, mucha actitud y algunos toques de hard rock de alta calidad.

«The south won» te deja claro que vienen a por todas y a dejar tu cerebro totalmente seco. «Gator season» es rock sureño del siglo XXI con elementos de lo más novedosos y una arriesgada mezcla de estilos. «Glory road» cierra el álbum con elegancia y resumiendo en lo sonoro todo lo anterior.

El resultado no puede ser más satisfactorio. El disco es un compendio de rock, metal y hard rock imprescindible. Trabajan duro para conseguir un sonido tan personal. Escucha su propuesta. No te defraudará.

In fact, they put in an impressive reed and the best thing is that they combine it with more melodic nuances to make their sound totally irresistible. What we say is noticeable in cuts like «Not for the masses». The one that gives the album its title mixes Pantera with Black Sabbath with enormous mastery.

«Unlawful» has a stoner riff that goes into the first one, but with hints of Slayer. «Turning the pages» is already a classic of metal since from its first seconds it takes you directly to the garden. It’s quite reminiscent of the 90’s and also southern rock which is still a pleasant surprise. «Power of my own» is a punch to the face with a Guns n’ Roses riff, lots of attitude and some high quality hard rock touches.
