La banda procedente de Tel Aviv, Israel nos presenta un disco muy atractivo, lleno de famosos invitados, lo que hará del viaje un camino único y apasionante. Un disco de Doom Metal que marcara un antes y un después en la banda y porque no decirlo en la escena, por la cantidad de grandes músicos y cantantes invitados a participar en este original proyecto.
El disco inicia con «Trees» y unos niños jugando que quiera o no le añaden un aire de misterio que luego el mismo corte se encargaría de confirmar. La canción lleva una dinámica vocal muy sugerente, como quién narra o lee una historia, lo que le da un detalle muy sugerente. El tema evoluciona, como el mismo estilo lo define, con largos pasajes lentos combinados con otros de mucha fuerza, no solo en el apartado musical, sino también en los vocales.
Con «Fear» la banda juega con secciones acústicas y secciones más violentas, en un corte igual que el primero de mas de siete minutos. En esta ocasión el invitado es nada más y nada menos que Aaron Stainthrope (My Dying Bride), lo que da una idea de lo que nos vamos a encontrar. El tema «A Year I Would Like To Forget» el único que no posee invitados, nos ofrece hasta una perspectiva muy heavy en sus solos lo que da pie a darnos una idea del amplio espectro en el que se mueve la banda.
Este abanico de sensaciones y pasajes son los que a la postre hacen del disco una joya muy variada dentro del estilo, sirva de ejemplo la dinámica de «In The Corner Of A Dead End Street» feat. Greg Mackintosh (Paradise Lost), Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ) & Kobi Farhi (Orphaned Land), que incluye una voces en plan susurro a lo largo del tema que son muy originales.
No esta de más añadir que si bien los convidados a la fiesta aportan un grano de arena muy importante, la construcción del disco, musical y liricamente ha sido concebida por estos genios que componen la banda y eso también han que reconocerselo. Los solos a lo largo del disco son también un detalle diverso y extenso que a la postre nos entretiene de manera impecable.
De «Misery Rain» me ha gustado en donde se quedan los platillos en solitario y la combinación de voces y efectos de guitarra que le han añadido. Un trabajo amplio con un esfuerzo titanico en reunir los invitados y en la composición de elegir en donde va cada voz, para con ello dar forma a un disco diverso que viene a remover y actualizar el estilo Doom Metal como lo tenemos conocido. Un álbum memorable.

The band from Tel Aviv, Israel presents us with a very attractive album, full of famous guests, which will make the trip a unique and exciting journey. A Doom Metal album that will mark a before and after in the band and why not say it on the scene, due to the number of great musicians and singers invited to participate in this original project.
The album begins with «Trees» and some children playing who want to or not add an air of mystery that later the song itself would be in charge of confirming. The song has a very suggestive vocal dynamic, like who is telling or reading a story, which gives it a very suggestive detail. The theme evolves, as the same style defines it, with long slow passages combined with others of great force, not only in the musical section, but also in the vocals.
With «Fear» the band plays with acoustic sections and more violent sections, in a cut like the first of more than seven minutes. This time the guest is nothing more and nothing less than Aaron Stainthrope (My Dying Bride), which gives an idea of what we are going to find. The song «A Year I Would Like To Forget», the only one that does not have guests, offers us even a very heavy perspective on their solos which gives us an idea of the wide spectrum in which the band moves.
This range of sensations and passages are what ultimately make the album a very varied jewel within the style, the dynamics of «In The Corner Of A Dead End Street» serve as an example. It is worth adding that although the guests at the party contribute a very important grain of sand, the construction of the album, musically and lyrically, has been conceived by these geniuses who make up the band and that must also be recognized. The solos throughout the album are also a diverse and extensive detail that ultimately entertains us impeccably.
From «Misery Rain» I liked where the solo cymbals and the combination of voices and guitar effects are added. An extensive work with a titanic effort in bringing together the guests and in the composition of choosing where each voice goes, in order to shape a diverse album that comes to remove and update the Doom Metal style as we know it. A memorable album.
