Crítica de RISING STEEL – «Fight Them All»

Segundo larga duración de esta banda de Grenoble que en menos de una década ha logrado convertirse en una de las más reconocidas del metal europeo.  Siempre se ha dicho que el segundo disco es más importante que el primero y así es. Su apuesta es el metal más clásico como confirman en el corte que le da título al disco. Pero no creas que la banda no da caña al máximo cuando llega el momento, de hecho un corte como «Mystic Voices» parece un híbrido perfecto entre los Judas más rápidos y Kreator. Sin embargo, es en canciones como «Steel Hammer» donde confirman que sus coordenadas sonoras se acercan más al metal de siempre que a otras más renovadoras.

Por suerte, la variedad se hace presente en un medio tiempo como «Blackheart» o en «Pussy» donde tiran de estructuras más rock y macarras. Por si tenías alguna duda, en «Led by Judas» confirman su pasión por las huestes de Rob Halford. El cierre con «Master Control» te volará la cabeza. Gran disco de metal de siempre con pinceladas modernas que te gustará tanto si eres un viejo rockero como si te aburre demasiado el power metal. ¿Será este el disco que los lleve al estrellato?
