Excelente corte.
ENGLISH:
One of the most interesting bands in British progressive metal returns with an album that was delayed by the pandemic. The band seems to be clear about what its sound parameters are, taking it one step closer to perfection. Start the party with «Prosthetic», an energetic cut that has sound passages that remind us of Anthrax from another era mixed with Fear Factory. «Invasion» lifts his foot from the gas and enters the terrain of halftime and the most progressive progressive rock. Excellent cut.
«Carrousel» begins as a nu-metal cut to which brush strokes of Tool, Genesis and Yes are added, to name the most important. Ten minutes of musical mastery to the delight of the most foodies. «The Strain» is a song that grows as the seconds pass, it is very difficult to make such a song in which the balance between feelings and energy is so perfect. «Canary yellow» is one of the singles and surprises with its slower rhythm mastery and the creation of a perfect atmosphere.
«Messiah Complex I: Ivory Tower» pulls further down the path of the latest metal leaving great moments. «Messiah Complex II: A Glutton for Punishment» is a more accelerated song than the previous one and it takes you, headlong, into a sound spiral from which it is difficult to escape unscathed. «Mary Gold», «The Sect» and «Ectobius Rex» complete the previous two songs developing an idea to the limit. We would have preferred them to do a long theme instead of dividing it into parts. «Only stars» closes the album quietly.
The work is immeasurable and allows them to confirm that we are, without a doubt, before one of the most interesting realities of British progressive metal, that it be for many years.
