Crítica de Black Soul Horde – "Horrors From The Void"

Los griegos ya nos dejaron un muy buena sensación con su segundo trabajo «Land Of Demise» de 2020 con su particular estilo Heavy Metal muy en la onda vieja escuela, pero además con un estilo particular que ha calado hondo en el ambiente metal, llenándoles de muy buenas críticas.

Con «Horrors From The Void» la banda repite estrategia y receta, en algo que saben cocinar a la perfección y lo vuelven ha conseguir con un disco cargado de adrenalina y con temas pegadizos dentro de la vertiente más clásica dentro del estilo y si la fórmula funciona y da frutos, para que tocarla.

Black Soul Horde nos deja muy buenas sensaciones en un disco muy animado, cargado de secciones rápidas así como pasajes melódicos todo muy bien aderezado con la potente y original voz de Kotsis que le aporta una peculiar aura con su voz.

Los tres primeros temas del álbum nos ofrece una visión más en plan medios tiempos con interesantes juegos rítmicos y amplios solos, dejando con ello claro, que no todo en el heavy es velocidad y guitarras como hachas cortando cuellos. De estos primeros tres me quedo con el punteo de guitarra de «Beware The Depp» y su inicio lento, así como la voz limpia de Jim.

Con «Liar Of The Wolf» da inicio la fuerza y velocidad con uno de los temas que más me ha gustado, por su aplastante dinámica y la estructura de las rítmicas que parecen llevarnos en volandas.

En general me parece un disco más sosegado, resolutivo lo que hace de sus temas una oportunidad para descubrir cortes mas personales. Son en general muy largos lo que da pie ha que posean largos pasajes rítmicos y de solos lo que a la postre es un detalle muy positivo de su nuevo trabajo.

Debo admitir que de los cuatro temas que me marcaron «Liar Of The Wolf», «The Curse», «Dragonfire» y «The Horde», estos dos últimos son temas extras del disco, imagino que de alguna edición especial. «Dragonfire» me marco la fuerza de su punteo y del tema en general y «The Horde» por los solos y cambios de ritmo.

Pero si hay que quedarse con algo, es que son una banda ha tener muy en cuenta por su calidad y por el vigor de sus cortes. A los amantes el heavy metal más clásico esta banda nos vuelve a sorprender con un disco potente y atrevido. Muy recomendable.
