Thirteen years of artistic career are quite a powerful endorsement to confirm that this Irish band is almost essential. On this occasion, they bring us a conceptual album in which they travel through the mountains and rivers of the Emerald Island. The use of Gaelic in his compositions ends up convincing you topic after topic, but if they are so important for something, it is because of their concept of rock.
In this second work they begin with an intro that invites you to think that we are dealing with a folk or electronic group, but it is not like that. Throughout the songs we hear how the more technical death metal mixes with touches of stoner rock, hard rock, sound experimentation and instrumental passages as impressive as the one that closes the album.
In short, it is a complete work that begins with a lot of anger, but leaves you free spaces to relax and feel the contrast between the cane and the tranquility. The result is quite satisfactory and almost encyclopedic by bringing together almost all the possible trends within our roll in the same work. Very interesting proposal that you should give a try.
