Ecléctico proyecto a medio camino entre un grupo francés de gustos variados y una cantante alemana que siempre tiró más hacia el rock básico. El arranque, con «This is moon» tiene pinceladas celtas, una base electrónica y una melodía perfecta para un corte de apertura tan delicioso. «Gate 38» es rock and roll en estado puro, sin tregua y con una energía que se trasmite. «Strange lover» apuesta más por la experimentación sonora y recuerda bastante a los grupos de música electrónica de los 80.

«Let me shine» es puro folk rock y puede ser un single que le abra muchísimas puertas, su melodía está bastante cuidada y tiene la comercialidad justa. «Les Oiseaux» es un medio tiempo con tintes de blues y post-rock de lo más interesante. «Anachronic Party» es pura electrónica oscura hasta que rompe en un corte que podrían haber firmado Depeche Mode en su mejor época. «Jack» es rock del bueno, moderno, fresco y con las ideas bastante claras. «Orage» cierra el disco con maestría. Lo tiene todo, es un medio tiempo con pasajes progresivos y partes electrónicas. Sin duda, es el mejor tema del disco.

Que te guste el disco o no dependerá de tus ganas de probar nuevas fórmulas que te limpien un poco las telarañas del rock más clásico. Si les das una oportunidad te darás cuenta de que hay proyectos que se siguen comiendo la cabeza para que el rock siga adelante. Recomendable.
