Crítica de Enigma / FALLEN ARISE / Rock of Angel Records

(English Below) La agrupación griega Fallen Arise, nos ofrece su tercer disco «Enigma» tras tres trabajos anteriores desde que se fundará en 2009, Eternal EP (2012), Ethereal, (2013), Adeline, (2015) y ahora Enigma, (2020). Fallen Arise nos presenta un estilo de metal sinfónico con cantante femenina como principal y masculina gutural, como contra parte. La banda se mueve en terrenos de bandas como After Forever u Epica, siendo quizás Fallen Arise menos violenta en las sensaciones que transmite en comparación a las dos bandas citadas anteriormente, pero no por ello menos fuerte.

Pro es cierto que es un disco más delicado en los detalles y en el concepto en general de sus canciones, ya que la aportación de Vlassis, es puntual para elevar un poco la dinámica de os temas, como sucede con «Forsaken» aportando una vitalidad extra y más aun cuando cantan simultáneamente. El tema inicia lento, con unos teclados muy suaves y la voz de Fiona acompañando perfectamente. La canción sigue un camino muy interesante, aumentando fuerza poco a poco, hasta llegar al momento culmine con la aportación de ambos cantantes y sin olvidar os buenos riffs que acompañan. El final nos devuelve a sus inicios, fino y sensible.

«Emberes» es más fiera y nos presenta su cara más provocadora con Vlassis cantando desde el inicio y Fiona en esta ocasión acompañando. Una canción con una sección rítmica muy atractiva, así como los teclados que le acompañan añadiéndole ese especial misterio al tema. El tema posee una sección en donde los bombos juegan un factor importante, así como los teclados, creando atmósferas únicas para que las guitarras se luzcan. «Released» posee un inicio en plan balada que luego evoluciona de manera muy original, con un solo muy heavy, de aquellos que enganchan y enamoran. La aportación de los teclados y piano le aportan brillo al tema y o convierten en uno de mis favoritos por sensaciones.

«Horisont» con su guitarra acústica es sin duda una de las joyas del disco, por las emociones que transmite con Fiona en plan estelar, haciéndonos disfrutar de su amplio registro vocal y un acompañamiento musical de ensueño. Un tema magíco que en cierta forma encierra la impresión que nos deja este interesante álbum de la banda griega, un trabajo seductor de principio a fin.

The Greek group Fallen Arise offers us their third album «Enigma» after three previous works since it was founded in 2009, Eternal EP (2012), Ethereal, (2013), Adeline, (2015) and now Enigma, (2020). Fallen Arise presents us with a symphonic metal style with a female singer as the main and a guttural male, as a counterpart. The band moves in terrains of bands like After Forever or Epica, being perhaps Fallen Arise less violent in the sensations that it transmits compared to the two bands mentioned above, but no less strong.

Pro is true that it is a more delicate album in the details and in the general concept of its songs, since the contribution of Vlassis, is punctual to raise the dynamics of the songs a little, as it happens with «Forsaken» providing vitality extra and even more when they sing simultaneously. The theme starts slowly, with very soft keyboards and Fiona’s voice perfectly accompanying. The song follows a very interesting path, increasing strength little by little, until the moment culminates with the contribution of both singers and without forgetting the good riffs that accompany it. The end returns us to its beginnings, fine and sensitive.

«Emberes» is fiercer and presents his most provocative face with Vlassis singing from the start and Fiona accompanying this time. A song with a very attractive rhythmic section, as well as the keyboards that accompany it, adding that special mystery to the theme. The theme has a section where the bass drums play an important factor, as well as the keyboards, creating unique atmospheres for the guitars to shine. «Released» has a ballad-like start that then evolves in a very original way, with a very heavy solo, of those who hook and fall in love. The contribution of the keyboards and piano add brilliance to the theme and make it one of my favorites for sensations.

«Horisont» with its acoustic guitar is undoubtedly one of the jewels of the album, for the emotions it transmits with Fiona in a stellar plan, making us enjoy its wide vocal register and a dreamy musical accompaniment. A magical theme that in a way contains the impression that this interesting album by the Greek band leaves us, a seductive work from start to finish.
