(English Below) Casi 40 años, se fundaron en 1982, de una banda mítica e importante para comprender el thrash metal en general y como no, lo que significo ese movimiento en Alemania y Europa en general. Su vocalista Schmier es toda una leyenda en su país natal y en el mundo, ya que su voz y legado al frente de la banda que formo Destruction, continúan tan latentes y actuales como cuando se origino.
De allí que este directo sea una buena forma de honrar una banda que es incansable y que en cada disco nos ofrece temas frescos, producto de un camino que los ha llevado a hacer muy bien aquello que aman y sienten, si bien siguiendo un camino establecido, pero quién desea a estas alturas experimentos fallidos. Y eso Schmier lo ha comprendido muy bien, para eso posee sus proyectos adicionales en donde experimenta otras opciones, que dicho sea de paso, siempre le han salido muy bien, porque lleva la competitividad en la sangre.
Si bien de un directo, lo que más le pedimos es que suene bien y puedan entenderse los instrumentos, como debe ser, altos y claros. Más allá de eso, no tiene más misterio ya que es un repaso de clásicos en vivo y habrá quienes amen más o menos estos formatos. A mi en lo personal no me dicen nada o muy poco. No es precisamente el tipo de edición que espero con ansia. Pero no esta de más admitir que el disco suena compacto y con un gran sonido y apoyo técnico, consiguiendo con ello cubrir la principal basa de este tipo de trabajos.
En lo personal, será por los años que llevo en esto, pero me ha encantado que incluyera temas clásicos de sus primeros años, temas como la inicial «Curse The Gods» una de sus obras maestras y que la interpretan de maravilla , demostrando una vez más que Schmier sigue en gran estado de forma vocal acompañado por su fiel escudero desde el inicio, el guitarrista Mike, que juntos han creado una base y unión muy fuerte que no es fácil de conseguir tras tantos años y eso se nota en su puesta en escena en directo, se conocen a a perfección.
Otra mítica canción es «Life Without Sense» que nunca pasarán de moda y que cada vez que suena en directo, es todo un regalo para los sentidos. De los diez temas seis son clásicos de la banda de sus primeros discos, lo que evidencia sobre manera el buen gusto de este directo y que no deja de ser una interesante pieza de colección para los nostálgicos.
Hay temas más recientes que no esta de mas disfrutarlos en este trabajo como «Nailed To The Cross», la incansable batería en «Born To Perish» o la incansable «Betrayal». Yo en lo personal eche de menos temas de mi disco favorito «Realease From Agony», que son los que más me erizan la piel, pero son ya gustos personales.
Un disco que nos recuerda que Destruction sigue tan en forma como cuando se crearon y quizás más, ya que sus ganas de repartir riffs y fuerza, es inagotable y eso para los que amamos, primero el estilo y luego a la banda lo agradeceremos siempre.

And that Schmier has understood very well, for that he has his additional projects where he experiences other options, which, incidentally, have always gone very well for him, because he has competitiveness in his blood.
Although from a live show, what we ask most is that it sound good and the instruments can be understood, as they should be, loud and clear. Beyond that, it has no more mystery since it is a review of live classics and there will be those who more or less love these formats. To me personally they do not say anything or very little. It’s not exactly the kind of edition I look forward to. But it is not superfluous to admit that the album sounds compact and with great sound and technical support, thereby managing to cover the main basis of this type of work.
Personally, it will be for the years I have been in this, but I was delighted that it included classic themes from his early years, themes such as the initial «Curse The Gods» one of his masterpieces and that they interpret it wonderfully, once demonstrating more than Schmier is still in a great state of vocal form accompanied by his faithful squire from the beginning, the guitarist Mike, who together have created a very strong base and union that is not easy to achieve after so many years and this is evident in its launch live scene, they know each other perfectly.
Another mythical song is «Life Without Sense» that will never go out of style and that every time it is played live, it is a gift for the senses. Of the ten songs, six are classics of the band from their first albums, which evidences the good taste of this live show and is still an interesting collector’s item for nostalgics.
There are more recent songs that cannot be over enjoyed in this work such as «Nailed To The Cross», the tireless drummer in «Born To Perish» or the tireless «Betrayal». Personally I missed songs from my favorite album «Realease From Agony», which are the ones that make my skin stand on end, but they are already personal tastes.
An album that reminds us that Destruction remains as fit as when they were created and perhaps more, since their desire to distribute riffs and strength is inexhaustible and that for those of us who love, first the style and then we will always appreciate the band.
