Segundo álbum de la banda de Taran de Pablos. Ha sido producido por Andy La Rocque (King Diamond) en Suecia y su equilibrio entre el heavy metal americano y el power metal europeo es bastante acertado. El arranque con «The speed of dreams» tiene todo lo que mandan los cánones: un inicio tranquilo in crescendo y una melodía vocal que te deja seco/a.

La caña de «A song to the land of the living», la elegancia de «The words that enslave», con bastantes aires a lo que hace King Diamond en lo musical o la potencia de «Easy to fall», quizá el corte más apropiado para los amantes del metal clásico, son credenciales suficientes para que el disco te guste.

Pero si nos tenemos que quedar con un corte es con «One more of the Dying». Podría estar perfectamente en cualquier disco de Iron Maiden y volarte los sesos con su energía. Enorme el cierre de un disco que ha de ser el pasaje directo para ver a la banda en nuestro país. No  dejes de disfrutarlos.

Second album by the Taran de Pablos band. It was produced by Andy La Rocque (King Diamond) in Sweden and its balance between American heavy metal and European power metal is quite successful. The start with «The speed of dreams» has everything the canons command: a calm in crescendo start and a vocal melody that leaves you dry.

The reed of «A song to the land of the living», the elegance of «The words that enslave», with enough airs to what King Diamond does in the musical or the power of «Easy to fall», perhaps the most appropriate for lovers of classic metal, they are credentials enough for you to like the album.

But if we have to stay with a cut it is with «One more of the Dying». It could be perfectly on any Iron Maiden record and blow your brains out with its energy. Enormous closing of an album that has to be the direct passage to see the band in our country. Do not stop enjoying them.
