La agrupación granadina de Metal Sinfónico Andaluz, Saedín, fundada en 2015, regresa con un disco poderoso de principio a fin, en donde la banda reúne, como solo ellos saben hacer, una serie de estilos como el metal, el metal sinfónico, progresivo, el rock andaluz y el idioma castellano, todo ello dando como resultado un sonido propio y original lleno de fuerza y aguerridos riffs todo muy bien aderezado con la hermosa cultura sevillana. The Granada-based Andalusian Symphonic Metal group, Saedín, founded in 2015, returns with a powerful album from start to finish, where the band brings together, as only they know how to do, a series of styles such as metal, symphonic metal, progressive, Andalusian rock and the Castilian language, all resulting in its own and original sound full of force and fierce riffs, all very well seasoned with the beautiful Sevillian culture.
In music as in many other artistic expressions, we are always looking for originality where it seems that everything is invented or repeating formulas, that although it is true, if they work, for many people, that is enough and we even like it, why deny it . But with Saedín we have found that band that goes against the current and manages to surprise us with a new and transgressive recipe. The songs of «Entre Ríos» are a delight, since they flood you with a special aura and energy, listening to them is like a breath of fresh air, where every detail, every riff, every stanza is a gift to the ear.
Angela’s voice manages to surround the songs with a halo of special and very own sensitivity, creating with it and the musical base one of the strengths of this band. She knows how to emit feelings thanks to the emotion that she transmits to us, especially thanks to her original style and school. A good example of this we have with «La Alianza», piano and rhythm changes included, taking the theme to loud and strong sections, to slower and more sensitive ones. and needless to say about the song «Ni Una Menos», an emotional cut due to the meaning of the lyrics and that the band knows very well how to move us.
Before the album begins with another of many jewels that «Entre Ríos» has and it is none other than «Castillo Rojo», a broad subject in print. It is not only the voice of Mesbailer that we already talked about, but the pleasant arrangements on the keyboards by Zoraida, details that accompany the entire album and add a sensational dynamism. Returning to the theme «Red Castle», it is a song that starts slowly and increases in strength as it progresses. Juanjo’s solos and in general that base full of changes printed by Antonio and Carlos manage to create a very varied and complete theme, a model that we will hear throughout the album. I have loved the force with which the song closes the album.
Another of the strengths of the album is the diversity of its tunes. Saedín has managed to create a captivating album where each of his pieces is different, thus making listening very absorbing. A band that combines elegance, virtuosity and strength in equal measure and that has managed to bring together unique styles and experiences in a majestic work. An essential album in any collection that boasts of it and for lovers of rock, metal in general who like new offers.
